losing a wife through death is an excruiating experience

it's a final goodbye but not one planned with love or vengence

grief too much to bare leaves you bereft, remorse for

things not said, world stops turning, the sun stops burning

then one day after thoughts of living have all but vanished

the ocean dry and the sand will no more scatter under foot

a lady walks through your peripehral vision on the shore

you turn by nature and feel you betrayed all that is good

she smiles at you and that foreign feeling from deep inside

comes to life but you curse it, no happiness allowed, buried,

my wife in her grave and I have a woman smiling at me?

they should hang me without benefit of a jury or trial, I'm vile

after a while that feeling is given a sentence, innocense

the judge speaks clearly without a doubt, you are not guilty,

your wife wants you to have a second chance with romance

don't doubt yourself, make yourself happy, just feel and live
